Where I stay while vacationing is one of the most important parts of traveling to me. I want to make sure I am comfortable, safe and treated no less than a Queen, so I usually splurge on luxurious hotel stays. I know, I’m bougie! But once I was introduced to luxurious hotel stays by my mother, I just couldn’t go back.
I stayed at luxury hotels in Madrid, Ibiza, Barcelona, and Marbella in August and September of 2021 and they were all perfection! If you are looking for luxurious hotels to stay in Spain during your next trip, you have arrived. I highly recommend each of these wonderful hotels and resorts I stayed at.
Madrid

The Four Seasons Madrid was the epitome of luxury from the flowers and gold in the hotel lobby to the luscious bedding in the hotel rooms. Apart from the beautiful exterior and excellent service, the hotel is located right in the center of Madrid. It’s walking distance to the most popular sightseeing attractions.
I loved how spacious the our suite was and the bathroom made me fall in love. There was also plenty of space to store our luggage. Make sure to view the gallery below to see the room; you wont be disappointed!
The Spa was another highlight of our luxurious hotel stay in Madrid. We started by being welcomed with tea and cookies. Once were finished, we made our way to the changing room to put on our plush robe and slippers. Upon entering our service room, the masseuse washes your feet with warm water. The treatment was incredible and was my favorite part of this luxurious hotel.
This hotel is home to Dani, a highly sought-after rooftop bar and restaurant. At certain times we were there, people were getting turned-away if they weren’t a guest at the restaurant. The drinks were superb and the food was delicious.

Ibiza

7 Pines Resort in Ibiza was my absolute favorite hotel I stayed at in Spain. The hotel consisted of individual duplexes and condos around the property. To say this is a luxurious hotel stay is an understatement. We stayed in a villa that overlooked the sea; the pictures do not do it justice. I’ve traveled to many places and this was one of the few that literally took my breath away. It was paradise.
We stayed in the cliff suite sea view duplex deluxe that was so comfortable. It was two floors and had two bedrooms. There was also a bonus room where we stored our luggage. The duplex had incredible views overlooking the sea and also had a backyard with the greenest grass I’ve ever seen. There was also a full kitchen, living room and dining room. It felt like we were renting a home instead of staying at a hotel.
Since property was quite expansive, you were given the option of renting bikes to get around or having a golf cart come and pick you up and take you to different places on the property. We ended up walking most of the time because of how beautiful the property was.
Another thing I love about this hotel was the pool area. The pool overlooked the Mediterranean Sea and there was plenty of seating with umbrellas to block from the sun. There was also a server that came up and greeted you as soon as you sat down, which is always nice.
Keep in mind though that this hotel is for a relaxing, quiet experience. If you are looking for a place to party, there are other hotels that would probably suit you better. You can always take a taxi to the day parties if you want the best of both worlds.

Barcelona

The Mandarin Oriental is located in the heart of Barcelona. The location was perfect because it was walking distance to almost every store and attraction that we visited in the city.
There was a shopping area right down the street with all of the top retailers. Everything from Nike to high-end Jewelry stores were right outside our hotel. There was also a ton of tasty restaurant and tapa bars right around the corner.
When entering the hotel, you make your walk through an outdoor hallway with butterflies hanging down. It let me know that I was about to have an amazing luxurious hotel stay and I was not disappointed.
The lobby was simple but stylish and led to a light-filled area that was home to their restaurants and bars. There was also a quaint pool and bar area upstairs that had a wonderful view.
The rooms were spacious and of course, luxurious. There were both robes and kimonos you could change into. There also was a heated towel rack in the bathroom which added a nice touch. Make sure to view the gallery to see the exact room we booked.

Nobu Marbella Luxurious Stay Hotel

Nothing says luxurious hotel stay quite like Nobu Marbella. Walking in feels like you’re stepping into a whole other world. The massive beachfront property has multiple restaurants, shops and bars on the property. Strolling through the resort is never boring because of how beautifully the property is landscaped. It was pure bliss.
Our hotel room had so much natural sunlight and a roomy balcony with couches overlooking the garden. We had more than enough room to spread out and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel had so much to do that we weren’t in the room much! It was so beautiful outside.
Although the resort had multiple nice pools, the main attraction was the beach the resort led too. Not only was there a beach, but there was also a boardwalk leading to amazing waterfront restaurants and shops. This was the relaxing part of our trip so we only left the resort one time to do some shopping. It was nice not having to travel and take multiple taxis to get to places.
There will be a full review and tour of the property on my Youtube page shortly!

[…] We flew into Madrid the night before and checked into The Four Seasons. It was a stunning hotel and was walking distance from most of the attractions that we visiting while we stayed there. The first night we checked-in and went straight to dinner at Restaurante Ultranarinos Quentin.
